HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – The annual luncheon to honor the most valuable players of the Hackettstown-Warren Hills game was held Tuesday at Centenary University.

The Hackettstown most valuable player of offense went to Matt Macaulay and most valuable player of defense went to Joe Andes.

The Warren Hills most valuable player of offense went to Zack Hamilton and most valuable player of defense went to Niko Frasca.

A tradition began in 1986 where the winner of the game gets to keep the beater board at their school for the year.  The beater board is a board, which consists of the history of each teams wins. This was to promote good sportsmanship, positive community support and positive school pride. This year the beater board went to Hackettstown, who won by a score of 27-21 on November 3.

The annual luncheon is hosted by the Hackettstown and Washington Rotary Clubs.
