There’s something for everyone at the family New Year’s Eve celebration that is “First Night Warren” at Rutherfurd Hall. On a recent edition of the RNJ Morning Program, Laurie Rapisardi, the Executive Director of Rutherfurd Hall, stopped in for a visit with Morning Mike and shared details of this fun family event. This will be the third year for “First Night Warren” and it grows bigger and better each year. From 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., families are invited to wander this historic mansion to see a magician, dancers, live music, clowns, a reptile show, and more. Munch on delicious food and participate in face painting, air-brushed tattoos, and other activities. Sometime after 7:00, everyone heads outside for special presentations including fire dancers and fireworks!
Admission is $10 per person, free for children three and under. You can purchase your buttons online at rutherfurdhall.org or by calling 908-852-1894, ext. 338. There will be a limited amount of parking available at Rutherfurd Hall on Route 517 in Allamuchy, and the cost is $25 for the special parking pass. Shuttle buses will run from free parking at the Panther Valley Ecumenical Church and the Allamuchy Township School in Johnsonburg Road. Visit the website or call for full details.
