LOPATCONG TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A Somerset County man has been charged in connection with a 2013 bank robbery in Lopatcong Township.
Quintin D. Watson, 50, of Hillsborough, NJ has been charged in connection with the 2013 PNC bank robbery, located at 755 Memorial Parkway, in the Hillcrest Professional Plaza, police said.
A cooperative investigation with the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office revealed that Watson allegedly walked into the PNC bank on December 12, 2013, at approximately 11:42 a.m., claimed that he was armed, and demanded money, police said.
Witnesses recently identified Watson as the individual photographed by bank cameras during the commission of the robbery, police said.
Watson came to law enforcement’s attention as a suspect in late 2017, police said.
Watson is allegedly a suspect in bank robberies in North Brunswick, NJ Franklin Township, NJ Princeton, NJ Somerset, NJ, and in Newton Township, PA, police said.
Watson is currently being held in the Middlesex County Adult Detention Center on charges of robbery from North Brunswick, NJ, police said.
The Warren County charges were lodged on January 31, 2018. His first appearance on the instant charges has yet to be set, police said.
