HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – A Ryder truck that became stuck in an underpass closed a section Grand Ave Tuesday afternoon.
The truck became stuck at 2:22 p.m. on Grand Ave, just south of College View Dr, police said.
Police determined that Jerell Manson, 21, of Roebling, NJ was travelling south on Grand Ave when he allegedly disregarded multiple traffic signs indicating that the height of the underpass is 10′-8″. The trucks height is 11′-9″, police said.
Manson was issued summonses for careless driving and delaying traffic.
No one was injured, police said.
Grand Ave between College View Drive and Allen Road was closed for approximately 1 hour while Bills Service Center removed the truck, police said.
Assisting at the scene was the Mansfield Township police.
