Motorcyclist seriously injured after crashing into tree

WHITE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries after crashing into a tree in White Township.

The crash happened shortly after 1:00 p.m. in the area of 1388 Ridge Rd, according to New Jersey State Police spokesman Trooper Alejandro Goez.

Samuel Emery II, 43, of Belvidere was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle when he went off the road for an unknown reason and crashed into a tree, Goez said.

There were no passengers on the motorcycle and no other vehicles were involved in the crash. Emery was wearing a helmet, Goez Said.

Emery was flown to Morristown Medical Center.

The roadway was closed for approximately two and half hours, Goez said.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, Goez said.
