TEWKSBURY TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A Washington State man who was traveling cross-country is facing drug and weapon charges in Tewksbury Township, police said.
Jeffrey Michael Winner, 40, of East 36th St in Tacoma, WA was charged with unlawful possession of a handgun, possession of large capacity magazine, possession of hollow point bullets, possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, and paraphernalia, police said.
On Sunday at 1:55 a.m., township officers found Winner sleeping in his car off Oldwick Road (Route 523), police said.
Through a police investigation, Winner allegedly was found to be in possession of a handgun, large capacity magazine, hollow point bullets, marijuana and paraphernalia, police said.
Winner was lodged in Hunterdon County Jail.
