WASHINGTON – The Domestic Abuse & Sexual Assault Crisis Center (DASACC) of Warren County will hold a Holiday Shoppe the week of Monday, Dec. 12 for Warren County residents who need gifts for their children this holiday season. The Shoppe will include items for children of every age and gender, refreshments, and activities. The event is free and open to all Warren County residents who need assistance this year.
Donations of new toys/gifts and gift cards are needed to support DASACC’s 2016 Holiday Shoppe. All donations should be dropped off at DASACC’s Outreach Center at 29C Broad Street in Washington between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Donations should be dropped off by December 6. Those looking to donate should call the office at 908-453-4121 to let staff know when you will be coming.
Last year, more than 245 families enjoyed a brighter holiday season because of the Domestic Abuse & Sexual Assault Crisis Center’s annual Holiday Shoppe. Around 500 holiday gifts were distributed to those in need. This year, DASACC anticipates the need to be great than ever.
